An investigation is to be launched into firms that offer quick Will writing services by the UK competition watchdog. Currently, Will writing in the UK is unregulated. Any person can draft a Will. This can lead to inaccuracies in how you wish your estate to pass on your death and it increases the potential that your Will could be invalid, meaning a previous Will may apply or possible the rules of intestacy instead.
While Will writing firms may provide a cheaper service (but not always), our team has the experience to offer expert advice tailored to your individual needs. We are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, unlike many will writing companies, and so you would be protected if something goes wrong.
